Pastor Van Ross is Co-Pastor of Kingdom Center Ministries, Inc. , She has made the vital connection between the Community and the Church. Her unique God-given gift has made room for her in the hearts of the minds of ordinal people as well as those who set in the seats of power and Government.
A native of Miami, Florida, her achievements are impressive and numerous, starting from her early work in the Office of the State’s Attorney Janet Reno to being handpicked to become the first African American female to be elected to Baltimore County Executive Jim Smith’s “Transition Team.” Founder and President of the Woodlawn Community Education and Development Association, Inc., she was instrumental in securing over $13,000,000 improvements for the Woodlawn Senior High School and bringing together the reality of a dream in building the Woodlawn High School Stadium.
She is one of the most outstanding Community Activists in Baltimore County. Her variant and determined manner mixed with an outspoken determination has made her most effective in securing the rights of the people of the Woodlawn Community.
